Researchers and lived experience experts at King's College London are leading a new project to create national guidance and resources for involving people with lived experience in qualitative data analysis. The project team announced that it received a Methodology Impact Fund Award from the National Institute for Health and Care Research Support Service, King's College London reported. [1]

Qualitative research relies on methods such as focus groups and individual interviews to evaluate the needs, perspectives, and experiences of patients. According to King's College London, the initiative will build a practical toolkit designed to support collaborative data analysis across applied social care and health research. [1]

The initiative, named the Lived Experience Navigation for Shared Analysis project, is co-led by Professor Lawrence, Dr Sharli Paphitis, and Dr Clair Le Boutillier at King's College London. King's College London stated that lived experience co-applicants Rachel Hill and Alicia Stillman are co-leading the initiative alongside the academic researchers. [1]

The National Institute for Health and Care Research funds social care, public health, and clinical research in England. The funding organization operates under the Department of Health and Social Care, as detailed in background information from Wikipedia. [2]
